School meals are served at no cost for every student at Canon through the National School Lunch Program. Free breakfast and lunches are provided to every student enrolled. Food sharing is not allowed for safety reasons.

Canon School District #51 is pleased to announce the sponsorship of the National School Lunch Program. All of the students attending Canon school will be provided with breakfast and lunch at no charge during the school year 2025-2026. Canon School District will be participating in a special provision offered by the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA). That affects the traditional operating procedures of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) Under this provision, it will not be necessary to distribute household applications to families with children.
